Ellie Miron, a teacher, is under attack — for his bravery.
Ellie, a dedicated teacher, wore his father’s IDF uniform to a Toronto teachers’ union meeting steeped in Jew-hate. His act was a bold statement: to humanize Israel and show we stand united as protectors of our homeland.
Now he's receiving death threats. And threats to his job.
The hatred directed at Ellie only proves his point.

I met with our Canada-U.S. Council today. We’re working hard to prevent these tariffs, but if the United States moves ahead, Canada’s ready with a forceful and immediate response.

I am relieved to hear that three hostages have been returned to Israel under the ceasefire agreement.
But this is not the end. Hamas must release every hostage — including the body of Judih Weinstein to her family. More is needed and the ceasefire must be upheld to the fullest extent.
And while today brings good news, I’m thinking of the families who know their loved ones will not come home, and everyone who has lost and suffered so much in this conflict.
