After testing 1.2.0, I can confirm that the Frame Rate is Fixed in the Switch 2 version of Resident Evil Requiem. 😎
No more frame skipping in Cutscenes, and no more odd frame stutters that started happening in patch 1.1.1.
FPS is also more stable overall.

@KippForShort You can refund digital games, you can even lend digital games now thanks to the Virtual Gane Card system, the only thing you can't do that you've mentioned is display it on a shelf.
And if that's the only benefit then physical ganes are purely performative. What a waste.

Please stop saying Game Key Cards are "half way to physical". They are not what is meant when someone says a physical game.
A physical game is a complete game on a cart or disc.
Game Key Cards are digital games with extra steps.
It's literally the worst of both worlds.

The Switch 2's random, recent, fairly quietly-launched update that runs Switch 1 games in handheld mode as if they were in SW1 docked performance, has single-handedly now made the Switch 2 hardware completely worthwhile to me.
How strange to just drop that mammoth function.

I never realized just how short the lifespan of the GBA was relative to most Nintendo systems until now. 2001-2004 for the library that it had while STILL managing to sell over 80 million units (which is more than 3DS got in almost double the time) is very impressive.
