As the year 2025 draws to a close, I would like to express a clear and sincere thank you for the strong and widespread support for Greenland 🇬🇱 from people all over the world—people who understand that sovereignty, dignity, and self-determination are not negotiable.
The message from the Greenlandic people, the Government of Greenland, and the Kingdom of Denmark has been clear and unequivocal:
National borders and state sovereignty are firmly rooted in international law. These are fundamental principles.
You cannot annex other countries.
Not even under the pretext of international security.
That way of thinking belongs to the past.
Greenland 🇬🇱 is not for sale, nor a country that can be taken over.
Greenland 🇬🇱 is a country with a people, a democratic voice, and the right to determine its own future—free from pressure, threats, and so-called strategic justifications.
The international support confirms that the global community continues to uphold cooperation, international law, and sovereignty—and clearly rejects coercion and power politics.
Let us carry this clarity with us into the new year.
With determination. With unity. And with no doubt about where we stand.
I also hope that my photographs and videos have helped place Greenland 🇬🇱 more clearly on the world map.

Good morning from Nuuk, Greenland🇬🇱Today I turn 47 years old.
Reaching an age like this gives cause for reflection. Today, I feel a deep gratitude for life—especially because I carry with me the awareness that my father died at a young age, only 46 years old, from a blood clot in the heart. It puts things into perspective and reminds me that life is not a given, but a gift that must be lived with respect, presence, and gratitude.

You’ve always followed your own path, and now you’re chasing your dreams at the ski academy in Norway 🇳🇴 with courage and joy.
I know that your dream is to represent the Kingdom of Denmark at the Winter Olympics in a few years – and I have no doubt that you’ll get there.
