3. … to a manager, I have still not been contacted. The service I have received is appalling and their approved garage, negligent at best. Zero concern from @TheAA_UK , what do I have to do to get someone to take this seriously?!

My car was in a @TheAA_UK garage for scratch to be repaired for a whole month after a no fault accident. I complained several times to my insurer @TheAA_UK about garage and was dismissed. I was told I could not remove my car despite no work having been done (cont. in comments)

Do not bother getting @TheAA_UK European breakdown. 7 hours + waiting for breakdown recovery. Lied to continually by ‘customer service’ Had to find and pay for help ourselves. AA now saying there are serious issues in France but not when we paid last week. No compensation #theaa

@LeShuttle It’s a shame your customers can’t say the same. My elderly mother has been in the queue for a train for several hours with her old dog who is very stressed. No help, no water, zero customer service.

Having paid over £250 for car breakdown with the @TheAA_UK while on holiday in France, we are being told that it is a standard 5 hour wait for assistance in 100 degree heat. We were not informed when we paid for it. I’ve been a customer for over 20 years, it’s shocking #theaa

@TheAA_UK No, we have just been lied to, your team have been useless apart from one lady. We finally managed to get to a garage this morning and were told that our wheel is warped and needs replacing but there is nothing they can do - we should drive slowly to our destination

@TheAA_UK We left a message for a manager to contact us at 4pm, we’ve had absolutely no contact or message back. We are now forced to get help locally and pay ourselves. I will be reporting you to trading standards.

@TheAA_UK @TheAA_UK It is now a 10.15pm - we have been waiting over 7 HOURS for emergency breakdown assistance. Finally managed to get through on the phone and spoke to someone who said that no emails or contact was made with recovery in France by the staff I spoke to. #theaa

@TheAA_UK It is not acceptable!! There was no mention of this when we booked a couple of days ago and were charged £250 for 2 weeks cover. There is a local garage here in Beaune that could have come out straight away but this not allowed!! #theaa

On top of this the staff say things like ‘we can’t do anything we’re not in France and despite asking to speak to a manager an hour ago we were told they were busy and would call back when convenient. #theaa
