@bloomingdame Penn is not even totally clear. Wild that it seems the city really hasn’t fully mobilized to fully clear and salt even the main arteries. DC has always counted on warming temps to melt the remaining snow and ice.

@Mike4Petworth Metro should make the full bus system tourist-friendly enough that everyone takes it. And have the flexibility to adjust buses to routes where they serve everyone great. Not be beholden to specific branded routes.

@Mike4Petworth I used to take the circulator a lot. It was always annoyingly slow. Seemed like a tourist / new resident gateway into taking the bus. Not worth running a different brand of buses. Regular metrobuses should fully replace it.

Not every community can recycle coffee cups, but we can in DC!
But, the lid *must* be removed from the cup for each piece to be recycled.
The plastic lid needs to be able to sort solo into the plastic stream and the paper cup needs to be able to sort solo into the paper stream.

@charlesallen Steer Act is a good start but it doesn’t do anything to collect on the many millions of tickets not paid by MD and VA drivers until they get to the accumulated points to start booting. Council should go after every single ticket.
