We can probably agree Myron Cope, Bob Prince, Mike Lange and Bill Hillgrove form a solid Mount Rushmore when it comes to Pittsburgh sports announcers. What if we had to fill another one?

@J_oshRizzo “Confederates in the Attic” by Tony Horowitz is a great read. Looks like you prefer non-fiction. Me, too.

I am grateful to have a nice library in Penn Hills to take the kids to. Found some books for myself. Most interested in reliving the collapse of the Pirates.

@K3ys3r__Soz3 Unfortunately, a lot of people agree with her. Racism, like hate, comes from many different directions. Let’s not fool ourselves into believing Blacks are only the victims of racism. They are definitely on the giving end of it, too. Good and bad in all races.

I just heard Mad Dog Russo ranked Patrick Mahomes as the greatest QB of all time. Is ESPN just deliberately fucking stupid now? This was the network of Bob Ley. Some of us remember that and it still means something to us. Stop with the mindless bullshit and do better.

@Rogervanoo @Super70sSports Len Dawson, Roman Gabriel, and Bart Starr were some very good QBs, though they played in a very different era.

@DPyda @KevG163 That’s fair, though I never felt the Cowboys were ever in danger of losing that game.

@CDaneRoberts @KevG163 Super Bowl XXX - Steelers trailed Cowboys 20-17 with under 5:00 left in game and had the ball. Dallas won 27-17. I think this qualifies as “remotely competitive.”

@KevG163 In a league that promotes parity, this prolonged level of one-sidedness has always been mind blowing to me. Only two Super Bowls during this time were even remotely competitive - XXIII & XXV - (Still two of the greatest I might add)

@TomlinGottaGo @PatMcAfeeShow @JJWatt Game vs. Buffalo was not a blowout. What’s a 42-3 final in your mind? That’s a blowout. 24-17 with 10 minutes left..... You like changing facts to fit your narrative.

@PatMcAfeeShow @JJWatt There's head coaches who win playoff games and championships and then there's Mike Tomlin, who either doesn't make the playoffs or gets blown out when his team gets in.

@ThePoniExpress @KDKARadio My bookie gunna void my bets?? I took Steelers points because of the weather. I’m sure a lot of people hammered the UNDER too. Side note, I have an easy solution to avoid this in the future: BUILD A FUCKING DOME

Per @KDKARadio host Marty Griffin: Sources tell him Steelers-Bill could get moved to Cleveland if lake effect weather and state of emergency is declared in Western New York on Sunday. He says that Browns stadium officials have been told to “be ready” Wow

@loaf221 @Toviya @colin_dunlap How many teams can you name that won a Super Bowl after a losing regular season? Winning more games than you lose should be the foremost goal of every team. Why? Because losing more games than you win makes you a loser. My 8-year old understands this. Can you?

@loaf221 @Toviya @colin_dunlap No participation trophies are being handed out here, so what is that? No NFL team has achieved great postseason success without first having a winning regular season. It’s the foundation for bigger and better things. No team has achieved that goal as consistently as the Steelers

@friendfirst1 @WendellLong4 @PickensBurgh Go ahead and pretend you loved Mason right from the start. He played really well in his first few games in 2019, but fans were complaining about how horrible he was. You were in that group and you know it.

@WendellLong4 @PickensBurgh Would have had a shot at division if Tomlin coached to win not to serve his personal agenda. Should have been starting since last season opener
