Hoping to see more whams & traps from Nick Caley in the Texans offense this year as well as more counter & power with blockers on the move rather than just spamming inside zone & duo. A healthier & deeper TE room & new personnel on IOL can help with this.

Texans running back British Brooks on Texans All Access told @jharrisfootball & @TexansVoice that he lost 17 lbs this offseason on top of weight lost at the end of last season: “I think coming off the rookie injury I played a lot heavier than what I was the year before & I was like ‘I can’t do this anymore.’ We all agreed on me losing weight. We started to see once I started losing weight toward the end of the season I was moving like my old self, more fluid.”

.@john_hickman12 asked how I view the Texans’ WR room amid the recent discussion and whether I’d add anyone. Without doing a full league wide comparison, I’d have the group around 8th, give or take a spot or two. That said, I’d still strongly consider adding a veteran slot receiver like Keenan Allen. He could help not only C.J. Stroud in an Erhardt Perkins style offense, but also accelerate the development of the Texans young slot receivers with his experience, route running, and football IQ.
