The first UKACM Autumn School has been a success. The numbers speak for themselves: 184 registered participants from 22 countries! UKACM would like to publicly thank the organisers from @GCEC_ for all the efforts to prepare and deliver this online course.

We are still really pleased how the mesh automatically adapts and corrects the phase field solution as the fracture propagates.

We are delighted to say that our latest research on phase field fracture using discontinuous Galerkin finite elements has been published in CMAME. Accurate and initial mesh independent results are obtained via error estimate driven hp adaptivity. sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
