Two of my sons have learned the machinist trade. Neither of them touched anything called Jobs Corps. They did it through their employers. I have another relative who trained in a second career as a plumber, doing quite well. Again, he did it through the employer. Private apprenticeships are the answer. Government social programs are a grift for people who don’t want to work real jobs. “Higher learning” is nothing but religio-political indoctrination. Always has been.

Eye-opening: State Senator Janet Petersen @janet4iowa revealed last Wednesday that Iowa has only one investigator looking into student abuse, after that was moved from the Dept of Education to HHS. Also, "student abuse" is defined in a way that doesn't cover many types of abuse.
