Myles Lewis Skelly reminds me of early days Malacia at Manchester United under Erik Ten Hag; Grit, intensity, duel winner and agressive on the ball.
Instead of signing skelly, why not give malacia a chance to prove himself in preseason.
Also…
Skelly is a natural midfielder, converted to a leftback, great on the ball and would be a great for managers who likes to play with an inverted fullback cause Skelly likes to cut inside to the midfield and operate also.
But just like Malacia, Skelly is small, suffers in physical duels, lacks defensive positioning cause he drifts a lot into zones, poor decision making under pressure.
For me, best choice is Lewis hall cause he stays in his lane as a leftback and not trying to drift to midfield etc.
Hall keeps it simple and moving.
