@DanielDescalso I left game 5 of 2013 World Series vs Boston & went to Pi Pizza Delmar. Spoke to a guy at bar. Said don’t lose hope because 2 years prior, 2011 Cards came back from same deficit. Said guys like Descalso got lucky hits. Didn’t realize you we’re standing behind me.

Tim McCarver mispronounced my last name a couple times and I told him my grandmother wasn’t happy with him. He asked for her number, called her to apologize and had a nice conversation with her. She got a kick out of it and he always asked me about her after that. RIP Tim
