How long should @RedbackBoots last for? Bought a pair exactly 12 months ago and already needed a new pair. Wouldn’t normally buy another pair but the are very comfortable. Worked out it cost me 24p/day or 0.000024p / step 😂👍

@PaulGer63424838 Go and see plenty. Feed on outside and in, both work depends on rest of yard layout. Also plan for the next shed think it might never happen but it probably will some time

What would your desigered shed design be to cubicle house 200 cows Currently split it to groups highs lows and heifers. 1 span shed? Fed in middle or outside? Head to head cubicles? Wall cubicles? How many rows? Slurry management? Passage width? 2 smaller spans? Am listening

Does anyone have a full time calf rearing position available with accommodation please? I have almost 3 years experience in calf rearing now. I have references that can be spoke to. I do not want a block calving herd thank you unless you can guarantee work all year round.

Improved load times in herringbone race. I’ve posted photos of the front crush and gate before. We make a note of the last 2 cows and let go. The second last gets caught in neck yoke and the last one sets up the next cow to be at the right angle.
