On 7 May, both votes SNP. If you want action on the cost of living, the NHS and Scotland’s economy, vote SNP with your first vote. If you want the SNP majority that can secure an independence referendum, vote SNP with your second vote.

@visitandtravel @GitGrumpygit Ohh but then you end up with less private transport on roads and less potholes and repairs required, public health is improved as air quality improves, and people walk more to get the bus. More people go into towns/cities and revenues increase, busier town centres = more jobs.

It also means that they are using money that is needed elsewhere - fixing the F***n potholed roads, Hospitals, waiting lists, no NHS dentists anywhere, as well as hundreds of other things. I am happy at low cost, even subsidised, public transport - £2 to go anywhere in Scotland is just taking the p**s when fuel is nearly £2 a litre, so it is basically taxing the driver, and the taxi operator twice, paying for our own transport, then paying again for basically free bus transport through taxation and rates - when most of us just want to go to England for cheap booze.

Why go Glasgow to Stirling by scotrail if buses are £2? This is going to have massive impact on taxpayers subsidising both

Anas' great big £5 million petrol promise would equate to every driver getting just under 1 litre of fuel. Enough for a 6-8 mile journey. How helpful...

@STVColin I preferred it without sound Colin. Read his lips and all that. I was still able to tell that 90% of what he said is promises he won’t keep. We gave Liebour a chance in 2024, and they’ve been arguably just as bad as the Tories. The Scottish public won’t make that mistake again.

I live in an SNP stronghold otherwise I would tactical vote snp but I am fingies crossed for an snp/green coalition as that is my best case scenario rn
