@DelRayCA @MarchMadnessWBB @IowaWBB No I was at Iowa’s game on Monday which is when this post happened. It was 46 degrees Monday, the normal March temperature, do the comment about it being hot in Carver Monday was silly.

@DelRayCA @MarchMadnessWBB @IowaWBB Try again. It was 46 degrees outside. It was very cool inside. I wished I had worn a sweatshirt and not merely a T-shirt.

The players and coaches have constantly raved about Carver and the job Iowa does hosting. It’s unusually hot in March. Thankfully: The court is underground and it wasn’t bad. People are making a mountain out of a molehill. To say Carver isn’t meeting standards and codes is dumb.

If you’re a host team you need to pass a standards and codes inspection

@NCAABuzzerBters They would have rented portable AC’s from United Rentals if men’s tournament. Actually men’s tournament would never let them host

What exactly is the point of the Big Ten and SEC destroying college sports for billions of dollars if they’re too broke to put basic HVAC in arenas? 🤔

Carver does not have A/C. It's supposed to be 86 degrees in Iowa City tomorrow, with a sellout crowd. For the 1st time ever, I asked a basketball coach, Jan Jensen, about how the temperature could impact the game. @KCRG_Sports
