This baseless complaint brought by the Turek campaign was unanimously dismissed by the bipartisan Iowa Senate Ethics Committee. The Turek campaign is worried the $10 million that Chuck Schumer’s dark money network is spending to try and buy Josh the Senate nomination won’t be enough.

Nate B was elected to leadership by the caucus not placed there by Zach, and NB was re-elected in 2020 despite the allegation

@LauraRBelin The bogus complaint was filed by Kathy Ulrich a huge Turek supporter. She also recruited a candidate to run in the primary against Liz Bennett in 2014. She 1st tried to get me to primary Liz. I informed her I was Liz’ campaign manager. Liz cruised to victory.

Wahls' attorney had submitted response showing he sought guidance before taking that job in 2024, & that Next 50 PACs were not active in Iowa while he was exec director.

The Iowa Senate Ethics Committee took no action on complaint filed April 30 charging that Zach Wahls improperly led a political committee while serving in Senate.
They will inform complainant that no further action will be taken unless more evidence is submitted within 120 days.
