One of my viewers contacted PlayStation support about the 30 day DRM update for PS4/PS5 games.
The response they got makes it sound like this is not a mistake or "bug" and is intentional.
They describe it as a "technical feature".
Sony still hasn't officially responded yet.

Just use it straight out of the box and play the fucking game. Use in-game options & go.

I want to clear this up directly and quickly and for the last time. I used DS4Windows strictly for controller tuningโdeadzones, anti-deadzones, and response curves to improve how my sticks felt. I never used scripts, macros, or any kind of automation. The profiles themselves werenโt cheating and didnโt generate or modify inputsโthey only adjusted controller responsiveness. I do understand how the profile name couldโve been taken the wrong way, especially given how similar wording is used in actual cheating setups. My Call of Duty: Warzone account is in good standing with no bans or flags, and Iโve always been open to every monitor cam and PC check Iโve been asked to do. Iโve also removed everything related to DS4Windows so thereโs no confusion moving forward. I take competing seriously and would never risk that by using cheats. This situation came from how it looked, not from what I was actually doing. Iโll keep competing, stay transparent, and let my gameplay speak for itself.
