The resulting image is nothing more than what it was prompted. It has no essence or meaning, a collage of almost pure chaos. As a visual (object) it serves no other purpose, which in my personal and professional opinion isn't enough to call it Art.

My problem here will always be that the AI is taking other people's work. Those are already fully formed images with their own aesthetics and contexts and merging all of them together removes all of that.

Not sure how much was taken out of context (if at all) but as much as I try to keep an objective stance on the discourse, this guy sounds just as arrogant as Elon Musk pcgamer.com/ai-artist-who-…

Stranger Things has "demogorgons" and "demobats" inspired by DnD, but they look like phyrexians which are from Magic. Wizards of the Coast owns both so that means... *insert conspiracy theory meme* Urza and Mishra are the Duffer Brothers? The Brother's War is coming to Hawkins??

This might be a very niche opinion, but I think @wizards_magic completely missed the opportunity to hire @LackadaisyCats for card art on Streets of New Capenna... Perhaps a Secret Lair opportunity? #Lackadaisy #MTG

@DragonShield_ That's fair, I wasn't sure if I missed something when uploading it. I only remember the message saying you'll get an email if your work is selected. Nevermind though, there's always next time (and I'm glad you liked my work regardless!)

@DeusExMoose As for the 229 entries, some were double entries (from when there artists could upload for standard size and Japanese size separately), some had inappropriate content and some had dubious copyright status (some literally had copyright text from other companies in the artwork 😉 )
