Market is selling $PATH in the AI SaaS panic. But PATH doesnโ€™t sell seats to humans - it sells the orchestration layer where AI agents run. More AI disruption means more automations, more agents, more consumption on the platform. This should be going up, not down.

NEWS: Elon Musk and his lawyers are demanding Delaware judge Kathaleen McCormick step aside from a high-stakes Tesla case after she allegedly โ€œsupportedโ€ a LinkedIn post mocking a $2 billion verdict against him in a separate California case. McCormick was the judge who ruled against Elon in his big $56 billion pay package case in Delaware. The complaint includes a screenshot of a LinkedIn post by Harry Plotkin, a Southern California-based jury consultant who worked with the legal team that sued Musk for securities fraud in San Francisco federal court. โ€œThanks $2 billion for your help in this trial. It was a pleasure working against you. Congratulations to the trial team at Cotchett, Pitre & McCarthy, LLP and Bottini Law for standing up for the little guy against the richest man in the world,โ€ Plotkin wrote on LinkedIn. The filing alleges the post was promoted by McCormickโ€™s account, with a banner above it reading: โ€œKatie McCormick supports this.โ€ McCormick has denied intentionally endorsing the post, claiming she was unaware of the interaction until LinkedIn notified her she had used the heart-in-hand โ€œsupportโ€ icon. โ€œI either did not click the โ€˜supportโ€™ icon at all, or I did so accidentally. I do not believe that I did it accidentally,โ€ she wrote in a letter to attorneys. nypost.com/2026/03/25/busโ€ฆ

Leader of Manchester City Council posted this yesterday, announcing new social housing in the city. Surprisingly it's not for invaders for a change. It's exclusively for LGBTWXYZ people instead ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

@MagnusSigurdss @karpathy @jakebrowatzke Anthropic just partnered with PwC for enterprise deployment because they donโ€™t do governance and orchestration themselves. They want to sell intelligence, not build enterprise plumbing. $PATH consumes their models. More AI disruption = more work flowing through PATH.

@DigtalPL @karpathy @jakebrowatzke I saw this. Yes this clearly highlights risks of vibe coding, and unlikely enterprises will build their own as itโ€™s hard to maintain, secure. It does not however reduce the risk of anthropic and OpenAI releasing their own orchestration layer. Thank you for highlighting.

Software horror: litellm PyPI supply chain attack. Simple `pip install litellm` was enough to exfiltrate SSH keys, AWS/GCP/Azure creds, Kubernetes configs, git credentials, env vars (all your API keys), shell history, crypto wallets, SSL private keys, CI/CD secrets, database passwords. LiteLLM itself has 97 million downloads per month which is already terrible, but much worse, the contagion spreads to any project that depends on litellm. For example, if you did `pip install dspy` (which depended on litellm>=1.64.0), you'd also be pwnd. Same for any other large project that depended on litellm. Afaict the poisoned version was up for only less than ~1 hour. The attack had a bug which led to its discovery - Callum McMahon was using an MCP plugin inside Cursor that pulled in litellm as a transitive dependency. When litellm 1.82.8 installed, their machine ran out of RAM and crashed. So if the attacker didn't vibe code this attack it could have been undetected for many days or weeks. Supply chain attacks like this are basically the scariest thing imaginable in modern software. Every time you install any depedency you could be pulling in a poisoned package anywhere deep inside its entire depedency tree. This is especially risky with large projects that might have lots and lots of dependencies. The credentials that do get stolen in each attack can then be used to take over more accounts and compromise more packages. Classical software engineering would have you believe that dependencies are good (we're building pyramids from bricks), but imo this has to be re-evaluated, and it's why I've been so growingly averse to them, preferring to use LLMs to "yoink" functionality when it's simple enough and possible.
Daniel Hnyk@hnykda

LiteLLM HAS BEEN COMPROMISED, DO NOT UPDATE. We just discovered that LiteLLM pypi release 1.82.8. It has been compromised, it contains litellm_init.pth with base64 encoded instructions to send all the credentials it can find to remote server + self-replicate. link below

$PATH doesnโ€™t compete with AI models - it consumes them. SLMs, LLMs, Claude, GPT, Gemini, open source - doesnโ€™t matter. PATH is the platform where these models do work in the enterprise. The more models there are, the cheaper and better they get โ€” the more work flows through PATH

@jakebrowatzke Doesnโ€™t look like Cloude wants to go into this market, they just partner with PwC which is in my view bullish for $PATH

@jakebrowatzke Hello everyone! The most exciting thing about $PATH is coding agents building production-grade automations in hours instead of weeks. Hopefully shipping soon in Q2? ๐Ÿคž๐Ÿป

@DigtalPL Basically the strategy is just short every time @jakebrowatzke does a $PATH pump post and don't cover until under $5 or he gets liquidated whichever comes first.
