I have broken the 40,000 calorie mark for the two days of the 2026 Ncaa Tournament. I cannot show pictures because I promised my Dr I would be under 1800 calories per day. 15 poops, 65 pee pees. 6 showers, the struggle is real.

As a Gen Xer, I can tell you boomers and even my own generation comparing their 20s to today’s 20-30 year-olds needs to stop. I paid $600 for a West Hollywood apartment at 23. Today it’s $3500. Burgers weren’t $20, they were $6 to $8 in a nice restaurant. Life is not comparable. It’s a completely different world now.

Democrats offered to fund TSA and the rest of DHS, with the exception of CBP and ICE, until there are proper reforms put in place so that constitutional rights are continually violated, and American citizens aren't gunned down in the streets by masked secret police.

Why does a kid with Indian-American race need a 1600 on SAT to have the ~same odds of admission as a White kid with 1450?

The famous SFFA case treated Indians and East Asians as a single group. This masked significant heterogeneity: It's way harder to get in if you're Indian! In Columbia's internal admissions database (h/t @cremieuxrecueil), East Asian applicants had a 41% lower odds of admission than equally qualified White applicants, whereas South Asian applicants had 63% lower odds.
