If @elonmusk is game, we'd be happy to explore insuring Tesla FSD miles for (almost) free.
Shai Wininger@shai_wininger

We’re starting to roll out direct integration with @Tesla vehicles, removing the need for a UBI device in our Pay Per Mile product. This makes activating Lemonade Car on Teslas effortless and lets us cut hardware and shipping costs, helping lower prices for Tesla drivers even further. Tesla's API also provides richer and more accurate driving behavior data than traditional UBI devices, enabling us to offer better rewards and discounts for safe driving and FSD usage.

A few weeks ago I raised a concern about Tesla Diner’s in-car ordering: share your car with @Turo/@DispatchEV, a guest could order food & you’d be unwittingly stuck with the bill. They fixed it in just a week. Two weeks later I finally found time to go test it. @TeslaCharging 👌

While testing @DispatchEV’s fleet management tools I found that “Limit in-car purchases” doesn’t apply to the @Tesla Diner 🍔⚡️🚗

You can now order a Model Y Performance for purchase in the US and qualify for the $7500 federal tax credit. If you’ve been considering it, place your $250 before midnight tonight: ts.la/ryan81902

If you’re sharing your @Tesla on @Turo and you’re not offering scheduled Phone Key access to your car via Dispatch, what are you doing?

@thequeenbeetle We don’t recommend turning it off if it’s already subscribed to or purchased, this was just to prevent guests from making an unauthorized purchase without the owners knowledge

@EightBitElon @Tesla @klwtts We hear you. First, most of these steps are set it and forget it steps that only apply to your first trip. After that, you’ll still want to capture the 17+ photos and review charging receipts. We’re working with a few other OEMs to support similar if not identical functionality.

@DispatchEV @Tesla @klwtts Too many manual steps. If you really want to sell your service, you’d make it as easy and simple as possible for the customer. You’re only one Tesla update away from it bricking your entire business model.

TLDR: 1. Prevent Guests from making In-Car Purchases 2. Document condition with 17+ overlapping photos 3. Set & share PIN to Drive as well as Scheduled Tesla App Access 4. Enable Location Alerts to save time and parking fees 5. Review Charging so you don’t miss a reimbursement

@EZebroni I wish we produced our latest video a couple months back. Tesla should also improve the design of that toggle

I just found out a Turo renter who had our Tesla for nearly two months subscribed to FSD Supervised during their trip. We were charged a total of $208 and were never informed by the guest. Unfortunately, I overlooked it last month because the charge is the exact price as a full year of premium connectivity. With that being said, can someone clarify the “in-car upgrades” toggle from the Tesla app. I always understood the toggle as “enabled” meant that you are “limiting in-car upgrades”. Is this the case? Or does it need to be toggled off to prevent in-car upgrades?

With Location Alerts, you can maximize turnaround time, minimize parking fees, and even prevent unauthorized off-road or track use.

Tesla’s mobile app wasn’t designed to support multi-car ownership/sharing, Dispatch was. dispatchev.com/app
