What he is quoting and teaching is from the Sharia. That’s the law. I swear by the Almighty who created me, if the sections of the Sharia on capital punishment are borrowed by the government to tackle banditry, kidnapping, and insurgency, in 6 months, it will be a thing of the past. Nobody will dare call himself a bandit, identify with a kidnapper, not to mention kidnapping somebody for ransom. But when we are ready as a nation, we will do the right thing. Nobody is debating whether Nigeria should be governed by Sharia. The debate is about the false and misleading claims in the image you posted.
Every time you're asked to defend those claims, you switch to "Afghanistan," "terrorists," or "you people." That's not an argument. That's deflection.
If you're confident in your position, defend the claims with evidence. If not, just admit you shared propaganda without verifying it.
Facts don't become true because they support your bias.

That's not the debate here. I'm addressing the claims in your post and correcting misinformation. If you're confident that your post is accurate, then defend it with facts instead of telling me to move to Afghanistan.
I'm a Nigerian and a Muslim, so I have every right and moral obligation to speak up when falsehoods and propaganda are being spread about my faith.
The fact that your response is "go to Afghanistan" instead of addressing the points raised suggests that you may not even understand what Sharia actually is.
Sharia is not a single law book written in one place and applied identically everywhere. It is a broad framework derived from Islamic teachings that covers worship, ethics, family matters, business dealings, charity, justice, and personal conduct. In fact, respectfully correcting misinformation and educating others is itself part of what my faith encourages.
So rather than following whatever narrative is popular, take some time to research the subject for yourself. Independent thinking is always better than repeating propaganda.

What exactly is the point of being educated if you're going to see a piece of propaganda and accept it without doing the most basic fact checking?
You're not a Muslim, that's fine. I also understand that controversial posts get attention and engagement. But at some point, you have to care more about the truth than about trends.
Don't make a fool of yourself by repeating claims you haven't verified. Saudi Arabia doesn't own Google, and neither do Muslims. The information is available to everyone.
Take a few minutes, do your research, and confirm whether the claims are true or false before sharing them as facts.
