You don't understand what "son of" and "Word of God" mean.
The Word of God was always at the right hand of God.
Your own words that you speak are your right hand. They are literally the embodiment and agency of your thoughts and actions communicated to others.

"Son" means "of the same". You have sons that are the same as you - flesh, blood, DNA. They are equal to you in every way. For a time they submit to your parenting, but grown, they are your equal.
Your Word is the same as you. It only does what you tell it to say. Your Words are very much your Son, in fact, they are more your son, than your biological offspring.
This is why Jesus didn't know the day of the hour, and why Jesus only does what the Father tells him to say, and why the Father is greater and why he and the Father are one. Jesus is the voice of God. He and he alone, is how you know the mind of God.
