In New Super Mario Bros., Mario cannot use a Mega Mushroom in Toad Houses. Assuming the Mega Mario form in these locations reveals that the special Question Blocks cannot be destroyed by it, and instead create a very peculiar infinite particle effect.

@MarioBrothBlog my game theory is that that the bpm of the song itself was set really high in the project file (example is sometimes instead of 80 bpm a producer uses 160 or 320 so it’s easier to program midi) and the animation may be set to that bpm
