@GuyArthurMusic @KUUROmusic it depends what kind of plugins ofc, in limiters with short lookahead that constantly limit it is very noticeable, you get small artifacts/aliasing as the audio surpasses true peak values

@DualisticMusic @KUUROmusic I actually never heard a significant difference, even with super clippy sounds so idk, maybe if you worked with 192k+, but then - why would you need to oversample

producer/mixer question: ❓ aside from being a CPU hog, is there any downside of maxing oversampling/resolution in every plugin you have? Anyone ever notice it change their sound profile noticeably? (without needing to surgically a/b differences)
