@SimmerDownCIH One hundred percent, and you can feel it in the city. There is just a different air around the team right now, and it's awesome as a fan of the team.

The Sens have a long ways to go, but it does feel like they've gotten over the rebuild hump. I'm not talking about talent, I'm talking about culture and mentality. Many programs over the years never achieve this and the rebuild just keeps turning over and starting again.

@MikeBurin @SensBuzz He didn't suggest taking his contract, he said it would take a buyout so they could pay him anything, and I doubt they would give him more than like 1.5-2 mil.

@SensBuzz Sens fans are wild for this. EK65 hasn't played a meaningful hockey game in years, and your team is doing well. Why saddle yourselves with that boat anchor of a contract (even with retention) for a depleting asset?
