@Johnny_Joey Being from the Vietnam era, it is starting to bother me that I am seeing some people/press seem to be rooting against our military again... it should be so easy to support our people.

It wasn’t until tonight that I realized that after I first saw real combat [not we got shot at or the truck behind us took a hit… but I pulled a guy out of a wadi and put him on a bird missing parts and I really just hope he lived combat] I don’t have any pictures smiling. A lot of political opinions and overtures on this app. Even from combat vets like myself. Maybe we all need to take a stroll down memory lane and remember that day when we stopped smiling for pictures. When it was no longer exciting, but terrifying. Not the day we lost our nerve, but the day we actually found it. The day that the hypothetical became reality. The day we took a punch to the face and had to get up off the mat for more rounds. Remember that day and remember those who’ve lived it themselves in the past few weeks, most of them not combat MOSs. All of them heroes. I am so damn proud of the men and women who serve this country. They are not without fear. They are brave with it.

There is a reason why leadership is trying to jam this through the house. They don’t want the Senate to vote on this. Ask yourself why? Didn’t every Republican run on election integrity? So we’re just going to fold and let dem’s defund ICE? THANK YOU @SenRickScott for calling this out.

@EBCbaseball You’re a coach and I’m sure you’ve seen kids do stuff far more detrimental to your team than this. I’ve welcomed kids back after they earned their way back, being contrite. They came back better and made our team stronger (and deeper because backups played).

What will Husky fans DECIDE to do? Be the grown up in the room and accept an apology & support growth? Act butt hurt and trash a 19-year old kid?

@Softykjr Need to hear from the head coach, athletic director, and most importantly, the PLAYERS. If they are ok with it, I guess I will also. However, I think there will be a cloud and doubt all season. Not fun.

Here's my take: I've gone from anger to uneasiness. I don't know if allowing Demond back is the right thing. If you asked me yesterday, I would say no. And I still think I'd say no. This is unlike anything I think I've ever experienced as a Husky fan. I've never in 32 years in this business seen the fan base this split on an issue this big. To say I'm nervous and skeptical about how it will play out is an understatement. You?

@Softykjr Organization has to change their hitting approach/ philosophy, bring in some contact hitters. They swing like everyone is a home run hitter. Just try to get on base and have a batting avg. Frustrating

I’ve reposted some of the posts showing people celebrating Charlie’s murder. I have been upset and mad. In hindsight, I feel extremely conflicted about it. If they put it out into the public space, sharing it is fair game. Should we be spending our time doxxing, calling their employers, celebrating them losing their jobs? If they’re private citizens… probably not. Public employees? Maybe. But I still think cancel culture is a cancer, and I fear becoming a hypocrite on this.

This is the calendar of when the House of Representatives is in session. The yellow days are when we are at work in Washington DC for our constituents representing the people that voted to send us here. We already don’t have enough days here at work for the American people to pass President Trump‘s agenda and put his executive orders into law and now Anna Paulina Luna has shut us down for the entire week because she doesn’t want to come to work in Washington if she has another baby and joined with the Democrats to get her way. So we won’t be voting on the SAVE Act which stops illegal aliens from voting in our elections. And we won’t be voting to pass a bill that reigns in federal judges that are stopping President Trump from deporting CARTEL MEMBERS and illegal aliens. This is all so ridiculous. As a mother myself, I know A LOT of incredibly hard working dedicated women who get THE JOB DONE and are GREAT mothers at the same time!!! Serving in Congress is a privilege and if you can’t serve due to important personal reasons, then step aside and let someone else serve who can and will work for the people!! I’m sick of wasting time and days NOT passing the mandate from the American people!!! ***And for everyone’s information, I have no control of this calendar.

Big threats on my life by Iran. The entire U.S. Military is watching and waiting. Moves were already made by Iran that didn’t work out, but they will try again. Not a good situation for anyone. I am surrounded by more men, guns, and weapons than I have ever seen before. Thank you to Congress for unanimously approving far more money to Secret Service - Zero “NO” Votes, strictly bipartisan. Nice to see Republicans and Democrats get together on something. An attack on a former President is a Death Wish for the attacker!

@JordanReffett Curious, isn't it time for someone from the UW to come out with a little information on what coaches are still here, who is currently dealing/taking care of the players? How about a little on the coaching search.... I think the fan base deserves this after such support.

@Barstoolhuskies Don't blame them. Hopefully most of the players will show more commitment/ loyalty to the program and the goals they set for themselves.

I’m hearing that a lot of players didn’t even show up to the 1:30 meeting. Just shows how brutal this all must be. I feel terrible for our guys who have given their all to this program
