@EasyplugStore @jamesOwo_ @yabaleftonline Flash. Where do you live. Where I stayed in Ikeja Lagos and most parts of Lagos have been using prepaid meters for over 15 years. What Nigeria needs first is increased efficiency from installed capacity, before talking about the distribution logistics.

Interviewer: “People complain you didn’t give them electricity, suddenly you people will only provide 1 hour of electricity for them. How does that work?" NEPA official in Bayelsa State: “The way the people use the light is the problem. Once they see light, they will turn on their freezer, washing machine, pumping machine, and other electric appliances. Energy they should consume in one week, they will consume it in just one hour.”

@harisjustserved @jamesOwo_ @yabaleftonline Who told you some areas don’t want that? Are you the one that will decide what you want for the power distribution company or what are you saying? So you are the one deciding for the network providers of ur phone? They don’t want to distribute the meters cuz they want to steal

@Chiji_oke @jamesOwo_ @yabaleftonline You are too slow bro! The only solution to that problem is distribution of meter, or else this problem can not be solved. Why is no one complaining about Network providers not giving them network, even tho the charges is high bt at least na watin u pay for u go use.

@jamesOwo_ @yabaleftonline Like broooo this thing is not hard to do but they don’t want to do it because they want to steal. Some of those payments ppl pay to them both in cash and in the account does not get to the Electricity distribution company. The officials steals them hence why thr is dept.

@yabaleftonline I think to regulate this, the meter should be given for free to every household. If you don’t buy credit you don’t have light. And if you don’t regulate your usage, you keep buying credit simple!

@SudotechLimited @Salt_Canna @yabaleftonline Guy u don’t even knw what you are saying. Nigerians are not putting it on because they know it is cheap, they put it on cuz thr is no meter to justify the amount of electricity they consumed. And the nepa officials have refused to distribute meters because they want to steal.

@Salt_Canna @yabaleftonline And Nigerians put ON their lights because government pay subsidy on on it. We have to enlighten Nigerians. Cheap doesn’t mean you should not turn it off. Only turn lights ON when needed

Below is Dubai. They turn these towers' lights on at night and turn them off around 10pm - 11pm. Nigerians don’t know electricity costs money and needs to be preserved because the government pays subsidies for it. If you live in Band A, you will understand why people turn off lights they don’t use.

@yabaleftonline Dear Nigerians, please turn off all bulbs 💡and electrical appliances you don’t use when there’s light. It’s the standard practice everywhere in the world. We need to conserve energy.

@Olababz25 @yabaleftonline The only logical comments i have seen so far. And i actually took my time to read to most comments to see if someone will say something like this. It is only an area whr they don’t use meter that suffers this power outages more. The places that uses meters gets power the more.

@yabaleftonline Is this an official, if yes I'm not sorry to say this unprofessional. But still not his fault thou. Can someone tell me if energy is something to be stored like grocery or provision? If you want energy to be maintained then make meter available for all residents without issue.

Yes the police officer can be arrested and prosêcuted if the sh00ting wasn’t justified. The Police Act 2020 only allows the use of de@dly force in extreme cases like self-defence or when there’s an immediate thre@t to life. If the person was not a d@nger, that protection doesn’t apply. In this situation, it could amount to unlawful kill!ng under the Crim!nal Code Act, and the officer will face both crimin@l charges and disciplinary action.

Me: I believe this boy was set up by whoever sent him to collect the waybill, the same person also informed the police, the way they quickly kpai him shows it’s all planned This is heartbreaking 💔 😭😭😭 “You caught him and tied both hands behind his back, stripped of any chance to defend himself. He wasn’t fighting, he wasn’t running, he was begging. Begging for a chance. Begging you to take him to Sapele, to show you someone, anyone, who could speak for him, who could prove his innocence. But you didn’t listen. You pulled the trigger and ended his voice, his plea, his chance to be heard. THE NEXT ACT MAYBE A gun placed beside his lifeless body. A story is crafted. A label is stamped: “Armed Robber.” Just like that. But tell me… Can a dead man speak? Can a lifeless body defend itself? ” CcHarrison Gwamnishu.

@SavvyRinu @_ominee @PoliceNG @TunjiDisu1 You shot someone who was willing to take you to the sender of the goods he wanted to waybill. This is insane! So, how do you trace the sender of the goods? They just killed an innocent person to cover up for the evil they have been perpetrating all along.

Dear Men, Please take off the weight on your shoulders by speaking to someone, talk to anyone even if they'll judge you. There are still kind people out there who would let you cry on their shoulder than go to your funeral. So please, the only way to solve a problem is not by killing yourself silently. #Sentinel
