When 47,831 people signed a petition to protest Brymo's nomination at the All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) because he directed jarring insults at Igbos as the 2023 Presidential elections approached... A Yoruba person started the petition. You acknowledged and appreciated the support Yorubas gave the petition stating that 70% of those who wanted Brymo disciplined & sanctioned were Yoruba. They wanted their own disciplined for his unnecessary insults, uncouth language and tribal extremities. Now @illBlissGoretti has done the exact same thing Brymo did - A celebrity throwing tribal insults at the Land and People of Lagos... -Where is the Petition? -Where is YOUR strong condemnation of what @illBlissGoretti said? -Where is the critical mass of Ndigbo on X, stating unequivocally that illbliss shouldn't have done what he did? Nothing, Zero, Zilch. What we have is you, a renowned media person doubling down, when you can just do exactly what you did in Brymo's case... If not for anything but for consistency. @illBlissGoretti has taken accountability, deleted the tweets and apologised to Lagos and Lagosians because he knows better.
