ANNOUNCING THE 10 FINALISTS FOR THE 2026 ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL LAW ESSAY COMPETITION The International Law Association, Nigerian Branch is pleased to announce the top 10 Finalists for the 2026 Annual International Law Essay Competition. This annual essay competition provides a chance for emerging scholars and practitioners in international law to showcase their analytical work to a global audience. This year’s topic is the theme of ILA Nigeria’s upcoming 9th Annual Conference “Mitigating Economic and Financial Crime Risks in a Shifting Global Order: The Role of International Law.” All 10 finalists will be provided a scholarship to attend the conference at no cost, while the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes will be decided and presented at the President’s Dinner and Night. The President of ILA Nigeria, Professor Damilola S. Olawuyi, SAN, FCIArb has consequently sent a letter of congratulations to the finalists, expressing his firm eagerness to meet them in person soon.
