@doohanurmom @LordMasterIvan ...she says "encore"/"femmes"/"pensions"/"affolant". Either way, the things I complained about, namely the snobbiness and the harsh "r" sounds, are definitely things that are heard in France as well and which I even hate about my own accent sometimes.

I suppose there might be some subtle vowel differences, like when..

@doohanurmom @LordMasterIvan The only part of her accent that sounded remotely "not french" was her pronunciation of the word "huit". That's it(and even then there's probably french regions that say it the same way). The rest sounded, for the most part, like your run of the mill "french-from-france" accent.
