Wike is secretly calling the journalist he threatened to shoot to explain what? Nyesom Wike should publicly refute the statement and apologize. He's a lawyer; he understands the weight of his reckless utterance. Or is he looking for a court injunction that will say he shouldn't apologize?

@Big_Sinudo Wike meant every word. Recall in the run-up to 2015 governorship in Rivers State, Wike almost killed Seun Okimbaloye in Okrika when then governor Rotimi Amaechi campaigned with Dakuku as APC candidate. People ran, took cover in the cemetery because of gunshots from Wike's camp.

Why do people claim that Nyesom Wike didn't mean what he said? If you rewatch the video, you'll notice that the journalists in that media chat attempted to get him to retract his statement, but he refused. He refused to back down and declared that he would have shot the journalist. Such haughtiness and carelessness. If someone from the North said it, they would say he meant it.
