I’ve just finished reading @matilda_greig’s Dead Men Telling Tales. Napoleonic War Veterans and the Military Memoir Industry, 1808-1914. It is one of the most thought provoking and rewarding books I’ve read in ages. Greig looks at Memoirs of the Peninsular War written 1/
