Thrilled to have this work finally online @ JACC_BTS (@JACCJournals)… Here we aimed to develop a limb function test for experimental PAD models to quantify muscle performance and hyperemia. Hoping this helps better identify promising therapies!

Inquiring means to contemplate a problem without needing an immediate answer, to sit in the unknown long enough that different kinds of answers emerge. Important part of the process of discovery.

Science has lost a giant of physiology and metabolism. Vandy has lost a true leader. I have lost a mentor, colleague, and dear friend. Those of us lucky to have known him will remember his dedication and his (odd) humor. Rest now @DHWasserman1 We will miss you.

Very shocked to hear that David Wasserman has died after complications from surgery. Very sudden and unexpected. A true giant of glucose metabolism and a really great guy. Very generous too. A huge loss. RIP. @DHWasserman1
