Who else feels that gnawing frustration when the words that pour out never quite match the speed of their thoughts? When the mind races ahead, a thousand miles per second, but the hand, poor, mortal hand, can only chase behind, fumbling to keep up. And so, when the writing is done, the page feels incomplete, scattered with half-born words and broken phrases that never made it out whole, some even missing entirely. It’s as though the distance between thought and expression is too vast, the translation too slow, and what could have been brilliance arrives instead as fragments; remnants of a language your mind spoke too quickly for your hands to understand. P.S: I had to read through this to be sure it didn’t happen here. Guess what? It did. I had to reread just to add “gnawing” before “frustration.”

@Ifenimiii Unlike inanimate things, we have the God-given ability to direct our growth. We can choose how we evolve and what we become. That’s a blessing to be aware of our becoming and to shape it with purpose.

I am particularly fascinated by the perennial devotion to the understanding of the self as an ever-evolving entity; flowing like a river through the seasons of thought and experience. This idea finds kinship in the Buddhist principle of anatta, which denies a permanent, unchanging self. In this tradition, identity is a passing configuration, like clouds temporarily shaped by the wind. Similarly, existentialist thought offers us the metaphor of the blank slate that waits to be etched with the substance of one’s choices. From this foundation of nothingness, the declaration ‘I can be anything’ rises as a breathing proof of the boundless capacity for transformation and reinvention. The absence of a predetermined self becomes a gift. I am not shackled by inherited definitions or static roles. I walk forward with the authority to unmake and remake myself in response to what my spirit yearns for. I am nothing; I can be anything. Anything whatsoever.
