This young man at 26, was attending dental school while drinking so heavily he had a GI bleed, pancreatitis and needed an Ativan drip for his alcohol withdrawal. He had much bigger problems than being in a community hospital that didn’t have in house intensivists. Bless 😪

I'm learning that people find it a little backwards that I don't seek privacy to feed him but I do seek privacy to change his diaper but that's what makes sense to me? Do you need privacy to eat? No. Do you need privacy to change your underwear? Okay then.

when i was little i learned what schizophrenia was from TV and for a while i was really afraid because i thought i had it since i always heard my own voice in my head so finally i told a doctor and he informed me that what i was experiencing was called thinking.

But what he really did was not go to the hospital until he developed an ulcer that grew, perforated, caused an infection that then became sepsis, and once he collapsed from that called an ambulance
