GO Fest 2026 in Chicago was a blast! Adding a location background for Zeraora was a great move! Grant Park felt better than New Jersey in my opinion 😝 I really wish we got more Mega Energy instead of only unlocking Mega Levels and maybe a bit higher odds for shiny backgrounds 🥲 but other than that, I had an amazing time! It was so nice meeting so many of you, whether you came to say hi, take a photo, or to say thanks. It’s always awesome to finally see the person behind the nickname 🥹💛 Huge thank you to the whole Itasca Community for taking care of me and my wife, especially their Community Ambassador Kyle. @SchaferQuest777 Definitely a happy accident with the extra gyms, but hope they take that into account for next year, getting people away from Grant Park and areas like the field museum will prevent issues like they had with multiple events at one time and gave out Pikachus

In my honest option Lincoln Park was AWESOME! Definitely could have had more stops but was such a nice loop for raids & decent shade. Was talking with a few Community Ambassadors after the event & they said that Lincoln Park gyms were actually a communication accident and wasn't supposed to be that way. Not sure if that meant they were just supposed to show for the scheduled raid trains or what. So happy accident but I hope that's something that Niantic considers in the future - to add more GO Fest gyms to nearby areas aside from Campsites. The CAs were then asking for feedback on the event. My biggest thing was not enough gyms throughout the venue (there never has been at any event tbh) Only 4 hours is really not long enough to take everything in. By the time you do the team tents, PVP area, check into the Wayfarer tent, check into the Community Ambassadors tent, do the Research, check into Premier Access (if bought) do the pre-order pick up & merch tent, and then get to the end of the park - its been 2+ hours. Then the 30 mins of Mega Mewtwo - that leaves 1.5 hours to hunt a shiny or take in the sights or just do raids or catches. Again just my thoughts 😊 the video is the hundo Varoom that was called out at Lincoln Park & photo is from afar of the many people.

@SchaferQuest777 I forsee many family trips down there to get a few more shots at the shiny, and I am sure they will go fast in remote trades too... Just get two each trip from the ones outside the museum, plus when we go into the exhibit well get more

You can only get 3 Excavator Pikachu raids per day and 4 field research encounters. You also get 1 from a yearly timed research. Some are saying 1 Pikachu raid is unreachable from outside the museum. It's so dang cute too 🤣😭 I mean great that its a whole year but rip my shiny in 6 days 😆

@ashslayyyxo I put lots in there, never know what someone is looking for. They might just want a hundo of their favorite pokemon.... Mines at 650 pokemon in the remote folder, but definitely, shiny, legendary, and backgrounds seem to get picked the most.

@Mr_JTT 1000%. The amount of spins you get when driving to work with it set to just spin, versus doing both is huge because its trying to catch and missing the spins. If they use that as a feature for the built in version or paid version I might use it.

Who else wishes they would add the option to prioritize catch or spin first on the Pokemon Go Plus Plus or Gotcha or similar

@TonyTMPokemon1 For sure. Still waiting for the zones city-wide to see how those work out for the other days not in park..... They need to get that out soon, the weekend is fast approaching!

@g47ix Stupid question, not sure if anyone will know yet, but are the location cards blocked for all remote passes? If we are in the city playing and remote into another raid in the city does it not matter and just no chance for a location card?

@Amy_Wiedy Mine does this annoying thing now too. When I first reconnect for the day, I cycle the "identify nearby pokemon" toggle, let it find one pokemon, then turn it off and it seems to stop that annoying pink ball marker for the day. Annoying for sure.

@frenchfan10 They’re in routes and 7km eggs too supposedly. Also check golf courses for beach biomes for the other ones, the few golf courses by me you’ll find a few pockets of beach biomes there because of the sand traps I assume.

Unless Something bad happens to Kirk I personally prefer Raiders sit Fernando the entire season. Let him play preseason a ton to get those live reps and sit. Continue to build up the roster next offseason and boom it’s his. What say you Raider Nation? ⬇️
