The Sanofi PharmUp Meet-Up brought together technology entrepreneurs, investors, public and private sector representatives, and members of academia in Istanbul. Held with the participation of Investment and Finance Office [@InvestTurkey] President A. Burak Dağlıoğlu [@aburakdaglioglu], Sanofi Eurasia Region President Cem Öztürk, and Fark Labs [@FarkLabs] Founder Ahu Serter [@aserter], the gathering addressed transformation in health technologies from a multi-stakeholder perspective.
Delivering the keynote address, Dağlıoğlu emphasized that the healthcare sector is undergoing a profound transformation at both the local and international levels, shaped by digitalization, data-driven approaches, and innovative business models. He underscored the growing importance of sustainable, value-generating collaborations and stressed that alignment across the health ecosystem is critical to enhancing competitiveness and securing a greater share of international markets.
Referring to Türkiye’s proven capabilities in fintech and gaming, Dağlıoğlu stated a clear ambition to position the country as a leading nexus in deep tech and health innovation. He highlighted the expansion of fund-of-funds mechanisms and sector-focused venture capital structures, reaffirming the Investment and Finance Office’s commitment to supporting initiatives that strengthen Türkiye’s health innovation capacity and generate value internationally.
These efforts illustrate Türkiye’s determination to scale its health innovation ecosystem, attract international capital, and reinforce its position as the nexus of technology, manufacturing, and investment.
