MMA FAN/MEDIA QUESTION: Does not having to pay PPV prices make these cards feel like they aren’t Big fight Cards? People often place high value on things they have to pay a premium for

@DanRafael1 That's the same justification we hear about UFC's coercive contracts.

@DanRafael1 Its only a matter of time before its a monopoly. Ali Act, fans buying PPVs & a bunch of networks investing in sport kept fighter pay sky high. Now fans dont buy PPVs, DAZN is only network investing. So you have DAZN trying to take on SELA/TKO/PSKY/Netflix. It will be a massacre.

meaningless unless Dana confirms.

Major difference is that within MMA the UFC is essentially a monopoly. No one promoter in boxing controls remotely enough of the talent to be considered close to a monopoly.

H.R. 4624 The Muhammad Ali American Boxing Revival Act of 2026 has passed the House with a 2/3 vote.

Francis Ngannou shares the details behind his departure from the PFL: "We parted ways in January... I wanted to give them a better way to come up with something because that was their decision to part ways, not mine. I was a little surprised when they made the announcement. I didn't know they were coming out with that. I found it a little weird."
