Seriously though, is the NBA getting that much better ratings than a Sunday Night Baseball game on Opening Weekend?

Me: Sunday Night baseball is back! Sunday scaries won't be as bad now. NBC: We're going to put tonight's game only on Peacock, and have NBA on NBC. This is stupid, and I am annoyed.

@JeffPassan @LanceMcAlister I remember watching a Jays game a couple years ago when Springer scored on a play at the plate on Toronto. Umpire called him safe and the other team challenged. When the call came to confirm, the crowd went bonkers. Those ABS challenges yesterday had the same vibe.

There are moments that offer a pretty good sense that something new is going to work. This feels like one for ABS. The Cincinnati crowd’s reaction was thunderous. And the situation itself — twice it salvaged a bases-loaded opportunity. This system plays.

It's part of the reason I wasn't broken-hearted to lose Bo. I like him, but I don't think he's irreplaceable for the #BlueJays, and that's one of the reason.

With CB Bucknor behind the plate, it seems that being out of ABS challenges is a major disadvantage.

Vladdy with a couple really bad decisions in the first inning. Bad challenge and a TOOTBLAN. How that doesn't hurt the #BlueJays later.
