The #Reds today reassigned to Minor League Camp and optioned to Triple-A Louisville RHP Luis Mey. There are now 35 players remaining in Major League Camp.

Rece Hinds homers over the monstrous batters eye and into the street. Heck of a spring by him. Same with Bleday, who just homered off a lefty. Quality roster battle, which also includes a veteran in Lowe who has been a good player.

Two-plus innings on 48 pitches for Chase Burns today. He was hoping coming into the day to try to go a bit deeper into the game with the pitch count he had, but he had a long first inning. “I was trying to do too much with some pitches. Trying to make them too nasty. You get behind. When you (face) good hitters, you have those longer counts.” He feels good physically, especially after working on his mobility and flexibility. Up next for him is an appearance versus the Brewers early next week in the two-game scrimmage in Milwaukee.
