Coming from someone whose pretty nitpicky about TADC, IMO the commentary should be less
“what’s the deal with C&A”
and more so
“how did these people stumble on the same headset seemingly in an abandoned location that’s somehow still functioning and has wifi (sometimes?)”

sans is 100% from deltarune but i don’t understand papyrus because he seems entirely oblivious to the concept of the sun in undertale. was he just birthed in the brothers’ house and stayed a shut in ever since. have they never once touched foot outside in hometown. i don’t get it

btw i do know about the fun value stuff and entry 17. i just thought he’d be more relevant overall. people say he’s “haunting the narrative” but for that to be the case he’d have to like… be relevant.. to the narrative. AT THE MOMENT (could change idk), he is just an easter egg

finally completed Undertale (true pacifist) for the first time and i have to say uhh. i’m still confused as to why people talk about how important Gaster is to deltarune bc like. he’s even less relevant in Undertale than i thought 😭

@jelqmaster5 Its aethetics and mechanics do weave very well into the narrative and thesis it wants to discuss. Like the bullet hell dialogue puzzles are a very good choice at a gameplay loop that incentivizes thinking, and thus eventually. empathizing. writing just cant keep up.

I wish i could tell people that just because indie creators are not that experienced professionally doesn't mean they cant do really good things but sadly they have been showing me the opposite. Theyre not doing >writing< they are making stories with their personal tastes lool

@sapphicfunbun Episode 7 is the most nothing burger for characters until the last second where finally it remembered it had to push the characters along so had jax and caine do like one thing. could have removed episode 7 and just started at EP 8 where caine just stops thinking right or somethn

@t8peworm Legit throw a dart and any minor supporting character with some actual presense will find themselves losing all setup and becoming the same sacherine sweet pea for no buildup, no arc and no real rebuke to them as a character previously set up. Like legit its really bad.
