@BigRockInsights I wouldn’t mind runoff elections where we can, at least, carve out these spoiler candidates that split the conservative vote.

UTAH'S BROKEN ELECTIONS: Utah's election system doesn't just allow candidates to purchase access to primary ballots... It also allows candidates to win elections even if they lost a majority of votes. In 2020, Spencer Cox won the GOP governor's primary with just 36.1% support. Blake Moore won the CD1 primary with just 31% In 2023, Celeste Maloy won the CD2 special election primary with 38.8%. In 2024, John Curtis won the senate primary with 48.7% Our system is too easy to manipulate. Power and attention-hungry candidates pay hundreds of thousands of dollars to gather signatures to qualify for Republican ballots, then get elected with 1/3 of the vote.

@AndrewDBailey It should be gambling related but the Aces took the only viable name off the table. So it will be something innocuous like Vipers, or Mustangs. Outside the box I’d like: Lights, Volts, Marshals.

Salt Lake City is a municipal tyranny. If they’ll shut off water for ICE, they’ll eventually off the water to your house. The Legislature must act to reign in the excesses of our radical left-wing municipalities.
Lindsay Aerts@LindsayOnAir

ICYMI: In a move that's already drawing sharp reactions, @slcmayor and the @slcCouncil have implemented new water restrictions that appear to target the planned new ICE facility by limiting nonresidential daily water use for big water users. @abc4utah abc4.com/news/wasatch-f…

@abc4utah @mschultz_12 you really ought to reign this bitch in. Denver spread the blight of leftism throughout the entire state of Colorado, just as SLC does now to Utah.

Most towns outlaw apartments in single family neighborhoods But it can be done tastefully We just wrapped up this beautiful project 16 old houses became 280 apartments that blend in seamlessly with the existing neighborhood

🚨SHOCKING ESCALATION IN UTAH The LDS Church – which donated $25K to build Utah's largest mega-mosque (Utah Islamic Center) and other mosques in the state – is NOW exposed for partnering with Hamas-linked ministries & financing Hamas contractors! New March 23, 2026, reveals LDS Charities (Church's humanitarian arm) has funneled support to terror-aligned Islamic groups – far beyond what was known. Key facts: 🔺LDS Charities partnered with Medglobal, an Illinois-based charity that openly boasted of collaborating directly with Hamas’s Ministry of Health in Gaza (2020 announcement lists LDS Charities alongside Hamas-connected Rahma Worldwide and Taliban-linked Islamic Oasis). Medglobal received $200,000 from LDS in 2017 and $1.9 million in 2019, with support continuing in recent years. 🔺 Rahma Worldwide (Michigan charity) has signed contracts with senior Hamas officials, including designated terrorist Ghazi Hamad (who vowed to repeat the October 7 attacks “time and again”). Internal Hamas documents from 2022 confirm Rahma’s Gaza director is “affiliated with Hamas.” Aid workers in Gaza wore jackets bearing both LDS Charities and Rahma logos — along with the logo of RIHS, a Kuwaiti group designated by the U.S. Treasury for supporting Al-Qaeda. LDS has listed Rahma as a major partner for over a decade, with joint projects in Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, and beyond - continuing even after Rahma’s terror ties became public. In March 2026, Rahma released a video of a new joint LDS-Rahma project in Syria. 🔺 LDS Charities funded Bayader Association, a Gaza-based group that coordinates closely with Hamas ministries and whose staff have publicly praised Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorists. LDS supported Bayader welfare projects in Gaza (2014–2016), including untraceable cash grants - a method experts say often subsidizes terror recruitment and operations. 🔺 The Church has long collaborated with Islamic Relief (Muslim Brotherhood-linked, designated a terror organization by the UAE), serving as its largest donor after the 2004 tsunami and contributing millions in goods and services. These partnerships persisted years after the groups’ terror connections were reported. When previously challenged, the LDS Church dismissed concerns as “false” without addressing specifics, claiming no aid was diverted - yet the collaborations continued. 🔺 This is the same Church that promotes “interfaith friendship” while funding mosque construction in conservative Utah, where conversions are surging and Republican leaders (Gov. Cox, SLC mayor in hijab at City Hall iftar) are accommodating Islamic events with zero reciprocity from Muslim-majority nations. Utah Mormons: Your tithing dollars are building mega-mosques at home and - indirectly - supporting Hamas-aligned networks abroad. This isn’t compassion. It’s dangerous, one-sided enabling of the ideology now infiltrating red-state Utah. See the full report: meforum.org/church-of-latt…

Punch down? Punch DOWN?! Are you admitting it was bad and made by utterly incapable people?! Jack, this series had every possible advantage. It had a wildly popular brand and a built in fanbase. It had a top tier production and marketing budget. But instead of producing something good, it chose to spit in the face of the Star Trek fanbase and INTENTIONALLY be something they wouldn’t want to see. Which is really perplexing, to be honest. If you’re paramount, why do you want to alienate the fanbase of your top franchise? Why? Why would you do that? Isn’t the whole point of franchise storytelling to keep that established fanbase? If it isn’t, why not just make something completely new? So no, bro. Nobody is punching down, that’s absurd. Paramount has all the power, not the other way around, and they chose to punch Star Trek fans instead. And why should Star Trek fans put up with that? And why wouldn’t we celebrate when the punching stops?
Captain Jack@CaptainJackYT

It is depressing & disappointing seeing people "celebrate" the cancellation of a series. Do people not realise this hurts the franchise as a whole? Yes, you can not like something... but is there a need to continually punch it down?? #StarTrek

@RealJarTaylor Settlers on stolen land are not innocent just because they have started calling the theft “settlement.” What you call “Native aggression” was often Indigenous resistance to foreign occupation. Colonialism does not become legitimate because the invader had breakfast there first.

On this day, 406 years ago, the Powhatan Indians, who had been working peacefully with the Jamestown settlers, came among them as usual, but slaughtered every man, woman, and child they could. Death toll: 347, a quarter of the English population. I suspect not one American in 500 knows about the Massacre of 1622.

It’s the worst, Paul. It is THE problem. While Utah’s LG @LGHendersonUtah defies federal law and will not hand over the DOJ’s requested voter registration information aka voter rolls, Utah shares with ERIC (a SOROS funded NGO) the following voter information: Name Address Driver's license or state ID number Last 4 digits of SS# DoB Activity date (e.g., when the record was last updated) Current record status Also email Optionally your phone # & email Did Utahns consent to their information being handed over to ERIC?

Utah is the Absolute worst because it’s hidden beneath the banner of red state conservatism. Watching the LG hide election data, voter registration, and purchased-signature nominating packets astonishes the rational mind. @TracieHalvorsen @NatalieforUtah @phil_lyman @elonmusk @DataRepublican @BasedMikeLee How I long for it to be exposed.

@sltrib Utahan here. I think there should be an ICE detention center in SLC, St. George, and Cache Valley. One is just not enough.

“It is time for Utah’s historic resistance to federal overreach to come out of its Trump-era slumber and make it clear that a giant ICE prison is not something we want built in our community or operated in our name,” writes the editorial board. sltrib.com/opinion/editor…
