You’re watching people move like programmed extras in a bad movie, backing the same crowd that’s helped run the country into the ground. The irony is almost poetic. They still have to live here. Their kids will deal with the consequences of failing systems, overcrowded spaces, and shrinking opportunities. Meanwhile, the political elite sit comfortably behind high walls, sending their children to secure, well-funded schools where none of these “sacrifices” apply. It’s a strange kind of loyalty. The kind that asks ordinary people to endure everything, while the people they defend are insulated from it all.
