I have stage 4 endometriosis. Today I've been in absolute agony with nausea, hips, back, even my shoulders in pain. This disease is brutal, chronic, incurable and it exclusively affects women. And yet, once again, a biological male, LARPing as a woman, has been appointed as a spokesperson/representative for endometriosis. Women are being erased from our own suffering. Our pain, our bodies, our disease. OURS!! Appointing a man, who can NEVER experience this isn't inclusion, it's invalidation. We deserve advocates who actually live this reality. This is NOT ok!

@datadriven_tdoc It's defined by which reproductive system develops, not just gametic status, obviously. Sex can be observed in infants without any knowledge of if they will be fertile and produce gametes. A person with a hormonal imbalance isn't "less male" or "less female."

@latterdaylaura It is too extreme to do this every second they are awake. They can and should learn to occasionally do activities that the parents prefer in order to not become spoiled and entitled. It could lead to burnout and resentment even if you make yourself feel too guilty for being human

My super strong parenting opinion is that while the kids are awake, you come last. No spending all of Saturday golfing. That’s family time. 6 am tee time only, maybe. Wanna go to the gym? Go after the kids go to bed, or wake up at 5. In a few short years, they’ll be out of the house and you’ll have all the time in the world for your own stuff. It’s okay to come last for a while.

I think there are bigoted women just like there bigoted white people. Before l transitioned, I really did believe women had a kind of inherent moral superiority. And it’s like no women are just actual people. I don’t think we’ve had the same experiences. I do think as I go about my day everyone assumes as I am just another woman. My life is not about your insecurity. I’m not gonna find myself by a bunch of bigots.

Gender ideology says I have to consider this person just as trans as I am. This is obvious nonsense, and I am not going to do it anymore. Actual transsexuals need to take back our medical condition and kick out the fetishists. I’ve spent a great deal of my adult life undergoing painful procedures to undo the damage of puberty so I can be myself. I find it deeply offensive someone can paint their fingernails and claim to be the same thing.
