@SurgeonofDepth It's not that and you will see why soon. I will not spoil but you guys are really close to gracing the surface level of the surface level of the why Blackbeard went to Drum. He did not go there cuz the fruit since he'd have killed Chopper if it was because of that, end of story.

@CARTOONFPS @ArdaHakan555 Some people are just so stupid it's funny. I saw a dude quit competitive shooters because he had "bad electricity" in his home which made him play sluggish. People spend so much time on the 1% that they forget there's 99% more and then they wonder why they're not improving

this larp been going on for years let me talk about it and its coming from someone that has been seeking lowest sensor latency in mice, lowest click latency in mice, 8k polling rate shit, dpi, sens, pure schizophrenia when picking my peripherals i can notice the difference between 400-800-1600-3200 on same cm/360. yes it feels different, its more information per distance traveled. is this better necessarily? fuck no, might even make your aim worse due to more jitter/error possible in your movements. if u dont know what u are doing or you just wanna perform in a game, just pick a dpi you like and please dont fuck around with it its not important bro just choose 800 or 1600. if you use absurdly high sens might even want to go past 1600 to avoid any type of pixel skipping (low dpi + high sens u will skip over possible crosshair positions) im no tech pro, no i dont care, im talking purely from experience and so should you if you are a PLAYER
Jurnin@Jurnin

🚨 Low DPI is adding DELAY to your Aim🚨 • Very low DPI means fewer sensor updates • Fewer updates increase motion delay and jitter • 200–400 DPI is common, but it is not optimal Raise DPI. Lower in game sensitivity. You get faster updates and cleaner tracking. Spread this. ❤️+♻️

Good mouse advice with caveats. Here's why. 1. The truth is a "yes and no". 2. It does not affect muscle memory aimtrainers. 3. It DOES affect other gaming tactics. It's more an opportunity-loss lag for certain game tactics different from aimtrainers. In an aimtrainer situation a click will often fire at the correct position even at low DPI. So in a situation of [0%...100%] between intervals, the median is 50%. Mathematical average latency of 400dpi at 0.5 inch/sec (200 position updates/sec) = 0.5/200sec lag floor for slowtracks. You WILL get a visual lag if you're doing visually-driven tactics (e.g. precisely positioning a sniper dot visually instead of muscle memory). More of a "Gaming Tactics Matters" variable. Verdict: Jurnin has good advice "with caveats" aka "Not Applicable" to muscle memory users of aimtrainers flicking perfectly regardless of lag. 3200dpi+2000Hz low-sens feel flick-identical to 400dpi+500Hz (no gain) but the high poll and high DPI gives slowtrack superpowerz in other tactics (GAIN) = good. TL;DR: What's to lose, if your mouse+pad+engine keeps up? You're just adding superpowers beyond your existing aimtrainer muscle memory (unaffected, if edpi properly compensated, aka mouse-sensitivity calculator).

Ok so Highguard Episode 2 removed a super dope Movement tech that i feel was actually very good for the game. Mantle-Glide. Originally discovered by injy. There was a momentum carry system in place that "remembered" your speed before a mantle and carried it after the mantle ended. This worked from low to high speeds. Redmane for example could fly out of a mantle with his gun out. What i'm most disappointed by is that this also affects fairly low velocity Mantle-glides. You could skipjump into a Mantle, and with good timing could skipjump out of the Mantle-Glide carrying over a bit of the first skip-jump making the one after the mantle stronger. This opened up sooooo many parkour routes. And was exactly the type of nuanced micro movement tech i was missing from the game. I was just starting to explore the Maps with it and would have covered it in my Movement Guide. I would have argued that it should totally stay even if it was unintentional. I get that they might have wanted to clamp down on some of the Warden combinations. But that the low speed version also got axed just sucks :(

@bardozVAL my favorite is "USE USB DIRECT TO CPU FOR LOWER LATENCY". No usb port can go directly to the CPU, they all go to a controller first. The usb port in question have a dedicated path for throughput not latency, you'd need 100k fps to see the latency improvement lol

The only Windows tweaks that do anything are those that affect framerate and low-percentile frametimes. I validated my click-to-photon latency tool to be ±0.1ms accurate, and NONE of the popular Windows tweaks that supposedly "improve latency" had ANY measurable effect. I also have a global shutter industrial camera on the way (+ a bunch of other testing tools) so I can also measure motion. If anyone has any specific tweak they hardcore believe to do something to latency, let me know and I will gladly test it, but so far, even those that I placebo'd myself to believe to be useful, had zero measurable effect whatsoever.
