@NPC_Identifier That was true initially but President Trump has mandated that the AI companies pay for their own power at a higher rate thus keeping the local rate the same or they have to provide their own power. Either way, this doesn’t justify shooting up a guys house.

And when more than 80% of the population is vaccinated, Including 90%+ of the older population, then 6/10 COVID death rate corresponds to a major reduction in risk of Covid deaths since, if VE were 0%, then ~9/10 COVID deaths would be expected to occur in the vaccinated subset. That is, % of covid deaths in vaccinated is not a measure of vaccine effectiveness, and in fact your reasoning is based on two epidemiological fallacies: 1. Base rate fallacy 2. Simpson’s paradox/age confounding Bottom line is that after rollout in 2021 the vaccine effectiveness vs illness, hospitalization and death were all exceptionally high — they decreased in magnitude in 2022 after Omicron emerged and ~6m after shots with antibody waning, but was still substantial — so the key is that the risk was MUCH LOWER than it would have been had there been no vaccines So the facts are that vaccinated would have had much higher risk of Covid deaths since had they gotten no vaccine, and the unvaccinated would have had much lower risk had they been vaccinated. That is, many of the unvaccinated planes bullet holes that did not make it back from battle would have made it back had they been vaccinated, and those planes aren’t around to say that they suffered no consequences from refusing the vaccine in 2021.

So after all that drama… the people who skipped the COVID vaccine are just… fine? 🤔
