Can we just put an end to the culture wars now, please? This is absolutely horrible and needless.

You know that creating your own spaces and organizations was an option from the start?
You didn't HAVE TO force yourselves into every women's space like invaders. You chose to do that, instead of putting your energy in lobbying for your own.
You could have ensured that no conflicts in rights emerged, but you chose not to.
The backlash against you is completely your own doing.

@Rtloyalist2 @BBCNews No. I'm not remotely 'embarrassed' to be standing up for the legal rights of women and girls to be able to expect dignity and privacy in female only settings. That's my job. As it's also directly related to UK law, perhaps you're confused about what an MP's role is?

Boys should not have been in GIRLguides in the first place.
As sad as this disruption may be for the boys involved, their parents should do the right thing and work on helping their sons become happy boys, instead of indulging in pretence..
Single sex spaces for women/girls must remain exactly that. Not only is that the law, it is basic common sense.
If the parents of the boys involved, or some of the volunteers/staff donโt like this, they can always set up a new, gender neutral activity group ๐คทโโ๏ธ

But one thing that is under discussed.
Why is Gild Guiding single sex, but Boy Scouts open to both genders? This doesn't seem very fair.

@TheParty1sOver Gurlguiding dont know. So what we do know is there is a whole lot of hand wringing and angry men around and a policy which means girls who struggle with their gender identity are now no longer excluded from guides - its for all females. Which is fantastic
