Best advice to make it as a writer is to keep writing and stay in it for the long haul. How do you keep it fun? Lose the fantasy of being the one person who beats out millions and gets a giant big break. Ground yourself in craft, & joy of writing, & challenge of new genres.

#newbies My new writing groups are starting 2026 by taking charge of their careers. So much excitement meeting! If I'm good at anything, it's putting the right combination of people together. A few spots left. One group is on the weekends & the other during the wk. Just say YES

I've never had Covid. That I know of. Til today! I had vague symptoms, then my fever shot up. I had an old Covid test that said not to use it if it's expired. I used it & BAM. Positive. The doctor told flu is far worse. I ordered pizza and ate M & M's to make myself happy.

So apparently @skytv need a death certificate to cancel account even though I changed details and they’re TOTALLY FINE to take my money from my account. My mum died 2 years ago!

I love how many of the talents involved with Rob Reiner's films have spoken so fondly of working with him, so positively about him
it's very telling
also love how it makes you want to revisit all of those films/shows bc of the pleasure those artists had in the making of them
