@LFauexProd In my hometown there was an independent theater / restaurant called Chunkys that cracked the code on how to do it. The movie tickets were only 5 bucks. No matter what you saw. And the food was about Applebee's quality and prices. Had my birthday there every year

One of the reasons theaters are in decline is that they have tried to drive audiences back by also becoming bars and restaurants.
Instead of doing one thing well, they do multiple things badly.
If a movie theater is just a shitty, dark restaurant that's 3x as expensive, why go?

@AGoldmund Not a horror movie but In Time is my holy grail example of a brilliant concept squandered by bad everything: writing, directing, acting (this was back when we were REALLY trying to make Justin Timberlake a movie star and even an Oscar nominee).

I have a special affection in my heart for horror movies that had a great concept and terrible execution. Here’s is a thread of a couple that squandered amazing ideas.

If God is perfectly good, He would desire to save everyone. If He is all-powerful, He would be able to do so. If both are true, everyone would be saved. Since not everyone is saved, either God lacks power, lacks goodness, or does not exist. Choose wisely.
