@TransLink hello! can you help me trip plan, where I'm not walking 750 meters? I'm trying to get from New West Station to 5692 Imperial St, Burnaby, BC and the planner tells me to get off at Royal Oak and walk 750 meters. Is there a bus that gets closer, from maybe Edmonds stn?
@ronsterd89 Get some clear bins and labelling tape. You create the categories, then, show him the bins and say, I will help you! And when we are finished, we get ice cream! And pick ONE thing to start with. "Let's put the books in this bin. Ok! Great job! Now let's put the ... "Etc.
Just want genuine advice, grandpa to grandpa here. I have a 7 1/2 year-old who refuses to help pick up his room. He gets overwhelmed and angry and dismissive every time I ask him to help. I understand that his room gets out of control and I try to get him to pick it up after the end of each day and it is an incredibly huge fight that honestly, I am exhausted in fighting. From one grandpa to another what should I do? I am seriously open for all suggestions!
@GSVStandback SkyTrain didn't report anything in to us about that incident. Did you hear any announcements over the PA system or were you delayed at all? ^DA
@GSVStandback Good question - we do get asked that from time to time. Pets are allowed to travel in hand-held carriers that are small enough to fit on a lap. Strollers potentially take up space, that is already limited, for customers that use mobility devices & need those seats. ^DA
@TransLink why are pet strollers not allowed on trains outside of rush hour? Some of us do not drive and cannot carry their pets. Just wondering. We're not talking huge jogging strollers, just regular ones that securely hold small pets.
#SkyTrain UPDATE: Expo Line trains single tracking between Royal Oak and 22nd Street Station. Customers to/from Braid and Production Way Stations must transfer at New West Stn to continue their journey. Bus bridge in place. M-Line & Canada Line unaffected. ^tm
